Carlton nothing short of scintillating when they turn it on. They were back in business last night and will be very hard to beat if they can play like that consistently. Definitely in premiership contention!

reading all the post here and it is clear as day that oppo Supporters are really struggling to comprehend Carlton genuinely being in contention. All they have to make themselves feel better is to say that we are cheats and that we have the umps on the take. What a bunch of nuff nuffs seriously.

This week alone, Adelaide lose to Essendon when by their own admission an obvious htb goes unpaid in the dying seconds directly in front of goal and they justify it by saying the umpires missed it, yet the behind goal footage shows an umpire with an unobstructed view 30m away looking directly at it.
Pies get a run of 10 frees from late in the 2nd when Port were 31pts up that results in a 50pt swing.
GWS fail to be rewarded a free kick in the entire 2nd half against Carlton to go with some interesting free stat manipulation on the AFL's official website.
Brisbane get pinged a 50 when the Geelong player fumbled the ball after taking a mark and then an absolute wtf moment when the umpire stops play for a ball up and pings Brisbane for 'holding' for pulling a Geelong player of another Brisbane player which happens at almost every ground tackle stoppage.
Thats just in a 24hr period, what do they all have in common?
Vic club being getting favourable umpiring.
Then theres the old 'home ground advantage' from 'voice of affirmation' that we supposedly get from our 'genuine 12 home games' that Vics regularly trott out to justify their own advantages, yet of the 7 games SA clubs have played against Vics in the 6 rounds so far, 4 free kick counts have been won by the Vic clubs.

weaker !…disagree…probably a bit young to know the vfl was the pinnacle of football, most of the best players across the the land played.
unlikely current day Freo could beat the best teams in that area !
