Geez the umpires did what they could in the last minute.
Curnow ripped a blokes head off, Acres tried to bust through 4 blokes!
Curnow had forever to get a handball away.
Thank goodness the Crows held on
You forgot the ridiculous non deliberate call.

It seems you've ignored the last 30 years then.

There's an entire generation of neutrals who see Carlton as the loveable underdog punching above it's weight. It's the same as Richmond in 2017.

Luckily, the suppoters are around to shake everyone out of apathy.
Yep, everyone is happy to see a battler have a few wins.

Same old Carlton. 30 years without a flag...and counting

lol will it get to 40 for the blues?

how did the umpire miss that high tackle on the Adelaide bloke in the last minute?

then saw Ginnivan poleaxed from behind in front of the umpire for no free kick

you cannot say the umpiring is neutral

clear bias, baked in, and I suppose directed by AFL House , who else?

Genuinely worse than North imo. If we aren't throwing the chequebook at Stengle, Hayward, Bailey types then we've lost the plot.
It is very difficult to win a flag without a set of competent small forwards/flankers. Whether it's goals, creativity, pressure or all three (ideally).

Geelong had many years where that was a primary issue.

Carlton do have two genuine gun key forwards to offset it. But even adding one elite small forward would be a game changer.

Having Huddo call a win is just so good. Makes watching the replay that much better.

A nice change of pace from BT the last couple of weeks where he doesn't know half of the players (no seriously he has no idea and made about 14 errors of name each game)

Absolutely agree. I've said for a while I don't think this is our year barring a miracle run, small forwards have become integral for delivering the footy to the keys now rather than just the mids. At the moment for us it's our Key Forwards or bust up forward for both delivery and hitting the scoreboard.

Miers, Stengle and Close delivering to Curnow and McKay we'd be kicking 150 every week just about.

Motlop and Martin are starting 22 players but been injured - having Doc in this team would help but he's also injured. Missed abit of bite in the front half but Fogs is also injured. Missed Saads run for over half of the gam because he got injured... missed some of Cerras silk delivery because he was injured and now McGovern is also injured.

It's not a this game only issue. Last year was the same, the year before the same. We haven't had a gun small forward since Eddie Betts left to Adelaide

Huddo called McHenry Rankine at one point.
And he had a huge blunder the other way too. Did he call some no one Cripps, or did he call Cripps some no name

I doubt anyone is perfect but he isn't close to the level of BT and he also adds value to the commentary as opposed to BT talking about short throw ins or what hot take Hodgey has.
