I mean I'd agree with the scepticism if it wasn't for the fact the league has been running a program to prevent drug taking players from getting caught and everyone in the footy world has just shrugged their shoulders and let it slide. Is it really that much of a stretch? We all saw the 2016 Prelim and Grand Final umpiring right?

Carlton's energy impressive but still one dimensional bombing it in to the 2 twin towers. GWS just couldn't counterract it. Deserved the win but got a few softies. Not sure where they stand, top 4 a possibility especially with the way they're favoured. Giants wouldn't be too worried I would think, key injuries and a lot of learnings to take from this game. Still have them as frontrunners but it's a long season.

I agree with you re: the AFL, but I find it hard to believe that the independent statistic provider is in on some kind of hidden agenda to hide free kick statistics for one team in one game
