Essendon posed some problems for Port the last couple of times they played. Hopefully they can make this interesting again but it’s hard to tip against Port on the rebound.
Port's backline selection might change a bit
Minus Wright, we're not that tall up foward (Jones, Langford, Stringer, resting ruck).

might free Aliir up to play loose more, or they could go mobile and drop a tall.
We're suspect on the rebound 50 transition game.

This has been a pretty horrid fixture for us the last 6-7 years - don’t think we can change the trajectory this time with the current available list and non-existent transition defence, but hopefully we make Port earn it and exit the game without injuries / suspension for the first time this year 🙃

Tough ask to beat port at AO

Just hope we are competitive. If we lose and have a crack I’ll be OK

We’ve actually only won 35% of our night game at AO across the last 2 years (and last week).

We have virtually no home advantage when it comes to playing there but particularly at night which is interesting.

With how you guys have improved, you should be quite confident of getting across the line.

35% on our own home deck, that’s atrocious.

Probably half our side cant see in the dark or our Guernsey doesn't work well at night. Its common knowledge that Dixon's eyesight is poor during night games. Not sure what the players do to address this issue.

Should have beaten Melbourne last week to be taken seriously. Once again, Ken fails the test when it matters most.
i reckon we're a similar prospect to the Dees game style wise as well as scoreboard wise.
tend to be accurate when we do fire off a shot, but we're yet to have more scoring shots than an opponent this year.

Battle of the fallen giants , 2 clubs who were premiers and powerhouses 20 years ago , both now are finals losers who have horrific cultures run by morons

Port by 5 points and it will mean nothing at the end of the season

Losers lose and winners win
