The IWGP title situation makes it tricky. His next defence in Japan has been announced, so he can’t defend on an AEW show first. Could be in a tag match with Claudio against a couple of Callis Family members, but at 10 matches the card is packed enough.

Good promo from Mox to open the show.

Bit of a throwback from the Bucks, doing self-commentary while in a 6 man tag match. Also interesting that they just cut off an FTR video package to a cut their own promo before their match.

Jericho heel turn very likely coming soon after shoving Taz over.

In that Ospreay/Claudio match, the reversal out of the swing was pretty unique, don't think I've seen that before.

Also lol at the end of the show, Swerve's stomp to the pack of security guards was like a strike in 10 pin bowling.

In storyline, Don Callis said New Japan owed him a favour after he was responsible for getting Jericho vs Omega booked over there.

As for your question, surely AEW just pitches the idea and New Japan give it a tick? As long as Mox retains so it doesn't screw up their plans.
