Reckon if Essendon win this, they will go on and play finals. The confidence and self-belief they would get from beating a legit flag favourite would sky rocket.

I think the Giants more talent and experience will prevail ultimately though.

There is this thing called improvement from existing players. They were in the finals mix last season until falling in a heap. That didn't mean they were automatic bottom 4 this season.
