Weak as piss. Go hard Tredders
He's vanilla now
He's not shy about revealing damning statistics during the game. I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but halfway through the third quarter, he said that to that point, no less than 9 Port players were yet to touch the ball since half time. It's clear proof that many of our players are downhill skiers, but when the opposition applies the blowtorch, they're nowhere to be seen.

The media chatter surrounding the coaches leading into the Showdown will be hilarious,

Nicks: ‘spudding it up, unable to get the most out of a talented list’ (lol)

Hinkley: ‘working miracles to have his mob of battlers up the pointy-end again’
The only miracle Ken has worked since he's been at Alberton is the fact that he's still here.

Agreed.

The match against the Dee's and this game are repeated failures that needs thorough investigation and not just swept under the rug when we flat track bully our next game.

Mental weakness is a sign of poor leadership. i was expecting Rosie and Butters to step up in that department but it seems they are hamstrung by a weak coaching panel.
And even if we do happen to beat the Saints and Crows (by no means a certainty), we'll then stink it up at Geelong like we always do. Nothing surer.

Completely different era. The AFL is now a socialist league, which means that they want as many even games as possible. When you push for that kind of parity, all it takes is missing two or three players or a couple of players down on form to tip the scales massively.

Or do you think that Collingwood went +28 over their 2023 contested possession average because we were so s**t?

Yes I do.

Anything else is a pathetic excuse.

Wazza is like a politician... Promise the world and delivers nothing now he has his job...

Cant believe so many fell for it.
I will judge Tredders at the end of next year.
Hinks has 2 shots at a Flag - this year and next.
When he comes up short (and we all know he will) I'm holding a Tredrea-lead football committee to a non-recommendation of a contract extension for this fraud...

Maybe JUST maybe this game brought that attention to our players and coaches like tedders last year ..

The media is really going hard this week ..

Maybe the wake up we needed we have a great team ..

I'd expect us to come out and win..

But yeah I remember we have that bold old campaigner as a coach

Why does Tredders need to be judged but Snowdon or any previous member-elect or Board member escape scrutiny?

Well, if you read my past AND the post I replied to, you'd notice it was a post and Tredders, not Snowdon or any previous member-elect or Board member escape scrutiny.

But to answer your implied question. I've already judged Snowdon, and if I get a chance to vote for him or any previous member-elects, they won't be getting my vote.

I thought the idea of Wazza coming in was to make changes straight away???

So he's just gonna sit on his ass and do F all for a year????

It will be interesting about this time next year. Ken or his management won’t want to wait until years end for his contract to be sorted. Previously we’ve blinked at this and made rash public comments (eg Koch: “we’ll talk contract in August”) which have cornered us into a decision.

Tredders keeping his media role is very important. He needs to be setting the agenda subtly before Koch inserts foot in mouth.

A mature club would handle this well, we won’t.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ken is announced early and expect it will be he is leaving and Josh is taking over. This will likely occur in a way that is meant to allow us to “celebrate” Ken’s “achievements” over the past decade plus.

All in all it will be another wasted year of Rozee, Butters, JHF.

See you at the footy in 2026!

They can see it. But because Hinkley has been clever in splintering the playing group away from the rest of the organisation with his Daddy routine, they fear a player exodus if he’s sacked (the CEO’s words, not mine). So they’d rather maintain the status quo. How toxic is that s**t.
So true & add in they are also too lazy to go thru the process of hiring an external coach & don't want that process to expose them.

Indeed, but they're targetting the players

legitimately every single mid got sucked into trying to win the inside ball maybe 4 all go in at once, pies win it and simple flick to a free player on the outside and away they go. Thats from direction of midfield and senior coach

One of the reasons the crows will beat us this year again. Has been the same for a number of years and a number of midfield coaches.

Collingwood get through the high press to easily when port went forward. The number of goals they kicked with a pagans paddock type setup was laughable. It's all structure and coaching. Play one on one and across the ground we win that.
