If we couldn't beat WC because we had a couple of tough weeks in Adelaide, where we actually played pretty well, then we are going nowhere.

Hang on, on one hand you're saying we played well on two occasions and (supposedly mysteriously) poorly once, which indicates we're going nowhere?

I'd hate to say it, but just maybe it might also suggest the WC have improved. For how long remains to be seen.
