Damon, Stillman,Hilton, iaccubuccio, even the coach has it

Anthony Daw was also a Talent League player with Western Jets and a VFL listed player with Werribee (not that he played senior VFL) half a decade ago, though.
Did anyone one travel out to feral park today would love to no how Goldie took another loss against a undermanned pacco

All ek sides lose again .. from 3 rds not one win between them .. Was told two players walked out got there payments cut by half , another player shopping himself around.. pretty sure the coach said at the start he wanted to finish off what he started .. that’s going well

Maybe they should bring back the coach who he sacked last year

Congratulations to Greenvale on providing a first class facility, a game played in good spirit and outstanding sausages with onion and dead horse.
The change rooms have holes in the walls and toilets that don't work. The car park and around the area looks like a tip. Only thing that is first class is the grand stand and score board. Even the bottom level of the social rooms looks like it's from the 80s. The stand and score board make up for the rest of the place

It’s only round 3, BUT, trying to buy success doesn’t always work. You need to buy the right people if you want money to be successful.

Maybe check out their CV’s before appointing coaches. Did the president and committee do their due diligence or appoint on word of mouth.

You need to commit to the whole club, not just one part. Successful junior programs will eventually bring senior success.

I Feel sorry for the past people who put in all the time and effort at club land to keep a club alive and feel a lot more sorry for the people who have to clean up the mess when the narcissists mess it up.

Deer park firsts were very competitive today they fell away in the last quarter (maybe fitness) no17 is a very good player plays the quarterback role really well. Their ruckman no1 played well also,as did no6. From what I’ve seen they are lower to middle part of the ladder team.

The pres is the coach , so the committee would have just been told I am the man .. I won a COVID flag

The issue is how to effects clubs in lower divisions already struggling. How does a gun 15 year old at Hadfield or Burnside etc stay when a massive premier club comes knocking with contacts in pathways or promises of stuff?

It just keeps div 2 clubs in div 2 forever.
Agreed. Exposto was a junior with us until his top age u16 year from memory them was told to go to pacco if he wanted to be considered for Cannons so went there. Hard to say a club developed those juniors when they went there when another club had developed them in the early years. He's a great kid who's done very well at paco but they didn't really develop him as a junior as such

DP will struggle against top tier teams due to
no
depth as the 2s got hammered by PV and points will
be a issue until they establish a junior program that will
take 10 years to develop
Was always the issue with DP in their last 10 years in the WRFL, no depth, barely any juniors, barely cared either. At one stage paying Albanvale reserve players to fill their reserves. Started to unravel for them during the covid years, 5 - 5 in the uncompleted year, then bundled out in straight sets in 2022, their WRFL dominance had ended by the time they left.

Always defended themselves by saying "it's an old area" but plenty of new residential development south of the railway line but never worked hard enough to exploit it.

Not surprised what's happening to them this year.

I don’t think Roxy/greenvale u18s will have to worry about playing there too much in the future

All though must say good points on the toilets/social rooms
