I think all the clubs are waiting to see what happens by week 18, but if he is still fit (and I hope so) by then he will be swamped with offers and then the Eagles will have him contracted for a year or two longer than they might have wanted to by the end of the season.

For a guy as often injured as Yeo, I don't blame WCE for not rushing to extend him. 7 weeks of fitness isn't enough to sway me on that either

Prove it over a longer period, make the 2 year offer and let him walk if other clubs are paying overs. They're not in a window anyway

Well, according to his manager the hold off was due to Pyke and Clark settling into their new roles and waiting to see how Yeo's body held up after the past 3 years, which he said he and Yeo are completely understanding of.

Said Yeo's preference is very much to stay and would expect it to get worked out.
