Heard there is a few players owed significant amounts but I’m sure with there late season fund raising that will all get cleared up.
Might explain the player driven raffle sales

The NFNL have to make a hell of a lot of changes next year with fixturing in the seniors and 19s.
The NFNL need a clean out themselves. The fixturing is disgraceful, putting fees up, yet the seniors and 19s play at different grounds. Go back to the old one home and one away game. What was wrong with that system? No wonder teams like Macleod, Bundoora, Heidelberg and North have had money issues this year!Might explain the player driven raffle sales

Just a correction on one thing mate who said North had money issues this year, can verify all players paid by end of September with no player cuts. Was a grind though as sponsor dollars harder to come by but this was projected with economic conditions not so flash. Do agree on senior fixture issues & with 19s at different grounds stretching already limited administrators at club level.

Very true ..... not sure how they are recruiting but the rumours are so true .. that’s why fb page has them asking for donations of membership packages 1 year $100 5 years $500 and $10 year $1000. And explains that times are tough

Heard from a Macleod fella that McCaffer and Pat Flynn have signed on at De Winton.
Wow, I know Macaffer was close to leaving last year but there you go (if true)

Someone mentions on Bigfooty that Macleod are not in great financial shape and you take it as gospel. Tell me and give me facts......what is the current status and how do you know this ??

Not yet but getting closer. Although they are losing a few themselves at De Winton. Will be an interesting few months coming up. Personally I think the Macleod era is changing now, 19s we’re close to bottom with not much coming though. Monty to be the real movers for me with GARY chasing a few from the old stable after not touching any in his first year away

Here he is, potting Bundoora on every forum possible. Dennis has already signed and playing at Bundoora. Money issues are well and truly over with and the club is back on track. I’m sure you will write back people have told u from within the club they are in trouble. Why would therr committee speak to a supporter from Mernda of all clubs and tell them the ins and outs??
