Kicking snags from outside 50: Paul Wheatley.

Composure - me
Goal kicking - watts (style rather than numbers)
Goal awareness - Koz not too bad?
Flair - trac
Good looking - 1. Bernie 2. That nice Tazzy guy that played for us for a few years 3. SME
Not so much good looking but kind of makes you go a bit wobbly in a smouldering sort of way - not telling

This looks unimaginative but I only started following footy in 2008 and we had limited examples of stand-outs for a fair while

Kicking - Dan Nicholson
Handballing - Oscar McDonald
Marking - Chris Dawes

Goal awareness - Tom Gillies
Silkiness - Troy Davis
Balance - Jake Spencer

Spoiling - Shannon Byrnes
Flair - Dean Terlich
One-touch - Brent Grgic
Clutchness - Ricky Petterd
Footy smarts - Jack Fitzpatrick
Composure - Sam Frost
Tapwork - Jay Kennedy-Harris

I’ve started looking at this the other way around and I’m thinking of players that I quite liked and seeing if they fit the best of any of the categories.

So far I sadly haven’t been able to place Col Garland anywhere yet

Decent on the spoil, particularly on the lead IMO.

True.

Can we firm up the criteria please Less?
I had Melbourne careers in mind but anything is fine.

Thank you

Decent on the spoil, particularly on the lead - Col Garland come on down!

Occurs to me suddenly that Ronnie Dale might be a lock for a few of these, except without footage it’s hard to place him. On results though…

Sometimes I wish I was lots older, but only occasionally

I just recalled years and years back when Foxtel were replaying classic games over the summer. I watched the one where Flower captained Vic in State of Origin. I would lock him in for kicking, balance, silkiness and flair just on that.

Another important category for me is dimples. In 2013 we lead the competition with three players with great dimples. 3. Terlich 2. Nate Jones 1. Kent. No other team could match us

Hair: Dom Tyson or Fraser Rosman
Eyes: Alex Neal Bullen
