Big opportunity for Schoenmaker, Campbell, Hayes, Dow and Collard!

There are some players in the Seniors needing a spell or very close (Sharman, Stocker, Byrnes, Howard, Higgins suspension, Marshall injured).

Higgins is probably going to get 8 weeks so hopefully collard is ready to go
Wouldnt be the silliest idea to leave Collard and Campbell out of todays game.
Both will be most likely be needed next week

Hopefully, Dow comes out and has a great game.

He has spent heaps of time in the VFL over the years, when he came in late last season he was doing very well. It was sad to see him go but easy to understand his reasoning. It would be nice to see him do well today and then gets a solid run in the 1sts and shows what he is capable of.

Saints fans are hoping exactly this. Solid today and straight in next week.

Not sssure about Sharman. Every week he kicks the goal offf the day. He kicked another ripper last night. Maybe the Saints should try and get the ball to him more often

Yep such a rubbish way to start at a new club. I would just love to see him get up there and make a solid run of it as a starting midfielder to stick it up all the people who have hung it on him over the years. He always seemed like a very humble and likable player so it would be great to see him have some success.

So Mason Wood's return is delayed by a week (not playing VFL)?

I'm well aware of their roles. Spell his name right. Paton coming back would mean Stocker moves into Bonner's role and isn't relied on to lock down on opponents on his own. Webster and Stocker was such a good combo, so Paton slots straight in for Webster atm

I do agree Paton isn't B22 atm tho and probably will play a couple more 2s games before considered for selection.
If you think Stocker will cut it as a running back and distributor off half back (over Bonner) you might wanna take up another sport mate.
