Sometimes when you hire people from within, it's like saying we don't want to pay for someone good.

An easy cheap lazy approach.

They want yes men. Promoting from within gets you people who feel lucky to be there and won't rock the boat.

They don't want anyone who will challenge their system or demand accountability, those people get moved on quickly, see Monty and Schofield.

We've officially gone full circle back to Choco and Primus. You'd think the club would've learnt from previous administration mistakes. Gonna have to payout Hinkley like they had to payout Choco. Primus had no help, it seems Hinkley has no help plus he's a bad coach. Crowds could soon drop. I thought Koch and the AFL wouldn't let this happen again but here we are.

Which is exactly what Koch will roll out after we lose to the Hawks

How many teams have we compared ourselves to and then fallen short now?

And, like with most Hinkley failures, we're just replaying a movie we've already seen in 2022 when they argued they could save the season from 0-5.

We are the only club where the Chairman can say the coach has the full support of the board and you can believe him.

Yep agree entirely, that's what worries me with Carr, he's been around a while, the players are used to him and his ways.

If Carr isn't given the opportunity to hand pick his own people we will get more of the same.

Ryan McMillan would slot in that line up pretty comfortably

If we lose both Hawks and showdown I don't think he can survive past them, especially if we are uncompetitive.

We genuinely need this, if we are any hope for a catalyst for significant change.

We need things to turn really sour, we need the media to highlight all the incompetence of this admin, and then we need people to fall on their swords.

looks a good sanfl coaching group

To be fair to them, even though we missed the 8, we did bring things back from the brink reasonably well and with a few things going our way almost could've snuck into finals.

This year will be very different. If you look at our next 8 games, we'll start not just outsiders but rank outsiders in all but 1 of them (v North at AO, which we'd start favourites in). All results going as expected, that would leave us 2-10. And the most disturbing part is that the North game is the most likely to not go as expected. It's entirely possible we could be 1-11.

this would be so perfect. Ken wont leave the hero he thought he would.

Carr should be putting pressure on the club to step in now

If he’s just sitting back watching this dumpster fire get worse by the week then we should all be concerned.
I would love to know how many players are on Ken side, I have a feeling watching these games that we have players that are not all too well with the situation. End of year we may see the true face of which side these players are on Carr or Hinkley

Imagine being 1-11 and they do nothing lol
