I think we'd have to move some other role players like Kennedy and Young on and maybe Docherty retiring too to be any shot at scooping up both. Don't see it happening but who knows at this stage.

Yeah I know. I can't see any team offering Zurhaar that kind of money or even close to be honest. His stock has gone backwards considerable this season and only in the last two weeks has he looked half decent. Band 2 is now a contract in the 650k a season range with the afl average salary 440K last season and jumping up even more this year.

Definitely the agent leaking to bump up the price. But Stengle is better than Hayward and fits nicely with what the Blues need.

Talk of 800k to 850k for Hayward. I would have reservations offering Zurhaar a huge deal but he is a much better prospect than Hayward.
