Jeremy Laidler is in Queensland at the moment and could have possibly signed a deal with the Brisbane Lions. Might actually get a game now.

I reckon with Franklin and Tippett up forward and Richards already 30 that Sam Reid should be groomed for CHB.

Anyway good on Sydney for giving Laidler a go. Will LOL if he turns into an AA HBF after moving North for small coin and the chance of a game.

Shaw is 33 and had LARS so he will need everything to go perfect to make it through preseason, LRT and Johnson are coming off long term injuries so you just don't know, with the inclusion of Laidler we might be looking to release Smith in a more midfield role.

Laidler isn't really a dasher like Shaw or Mattner but I'm sure they'll find a good use for him.
