Special treat - ask him to launch one when you are 60 points up in the last quarter!
I did today. Even the coach either him to do it.

The boy was clearly BoG today.

Great day at the Pine Lodge. Perfect conditions with the ground being considered a fast 8 track. First time we have played StB in 14-15 years.

Great to see OI and StB crossovers Luke V and Chris Richardson 😂😂, at the game today.

Happy to sitting 2nd, but with Trinity next week at the Hedge, we will see where we are at.

OC will be disappointed not holding out Beauy. Especially not having Oliver or Thomas. Would have been massive for them.

I still scratch my head to see OH win by over 100 but lose easily in the magoos. It always happens, but it’s strange.

So did he launch a torp?

Quality full back. Always wondered whether he could play forward?

Trinity the pacesetters and early favs to go up - A huge last qtr from De La was not enough to get the chocolates.

Willy and De La's little brother will need to find some form. Drop any more games and it's welcome to C grade.

Beauy looked a proper team yesterday even without Nowell. Great run in the 2nd half and they dragged themselves over the line.

Camberwell will be kicking themselves that they let it slip, especially so late, but if you only kick one goal in the 2nd half it’s tough to complain about losing the game.

Good that the competition appears to be relatively even this year.

Only exception might be Willy, where it seems that most of the golden generation have moved on. Rare that you watch a team and it’s glaringly obvious their key defenders aren’t up to it, but I think that’s the case at the moment for them.

OC had their best two out. Thomas and Oliver. Seeing the Ressies result, Beauy wouldn’t want too many injuries.

Great day at the Hedge today.

I near perfect conditions, goals were at a premium, with Reed Jepsen shutting down ever attack.

The game came down to a kick after the siren froM a very difficult angle and the OT’s didn’t score. I believe Reed Jepsen stopped the certain goal from being scored.

Taking on the top team was a great marker for OI to see where it is located in the new division.

Both teams have some work to do, but we will take the 4 points.

The ground is bloody amazing. Change rooms are not good.

After match was super.

Good day at the Fearon too. Cys tried hard and at 1 stage in the 3rd quarter hit the front but then De La went whooshka. Talk about switching up gears.
Agree Pazza, beautiful afternoon at the Fearon, the young CYs had a crack, then agree DeLa went whack for the last 20 mins of the third and it was all over. First game I have seen this year, CY boys will be okay if they continue to play like they did in the first half.
Pazza any comments on the questionable goal. There were quite a few on the sideline querying the call

Not touching that one.

Hopefully there's nothing in these objections from the community. 20 hours per week basically equates to private school ownership of the grounds they reckon. Give me a spell. Same people that would sook and moan if council solely paying for a new facility caused their rates to rise.

Yes unfortunately these are the same people who just want to use open space as a dog park (& I have a dog!) and complain about how society lacks cohesion and in the same breath don’t encourage & support male & female junior and senior sporting clubs!

Ps my sons have played cricket @ Chelsworth Park - unless it’s changed facilities were a disgraceful rabbit warren desperately in need of an upgrade

It’s great watching Girls teams change on the grounds and not in the change rooms.

When the girls use the change rooms, there is one cubical and urinal from the 70’s.

Car lights are more powerful than our training lights.

The grounds are at capacity on a Saturday, so traffic will not get worse.

But we live in a democratic society, where everyone has a right to have their say.

PS don’t buy a house near sporting grounds if you don’t want sport to be played on them.

Surprised the school isn't already using it for 20 hours per week.
