This years draft bolter?I like that......
Definitely gone under the radar in terms of recognition from the state selectors. Performed well last year as predominantly a 16 yr old, due to being a Nov 06 born, for an East Fremantle side that finished 3rd. Was top 3 in EF F&B and has continued on in the same vein this year, as predominantly a 17 yr old. Could play colts for another 2 years going off his birthday. My pick is Declan Pauline, his skills and work rate are exceptional.
He might need to. Needs to put some size on and strengthen his kick for one. Don’t remember seeing him kick further than 40 m with a breeze. But geez, great little player. Got a good burst away from the pack, good vision and ball use by hands, good decision maker and tackler.Definitely gone under the radar in terms of recognition from the state selectors. my understanding is that the additional players have been informed. I know that Basil Hart who was hoping to grab one of the remaining spots has been told he didnt make the cut.So the WAFL names it's squad but doesn't tell anybody who's in it! Anybody know.
Families Join Teenagers on Talent Pathway Journey
WA’s most talented young footballers have celebrated their selection in the State Academy squads at this week’s jumper presentation. Players from the 16’s and 18’s program were joined by family and friends at a special function at Optus Stadium on Monday. WAFC State Talent Manager Adam Jones has...wafootball.com.au
Wow. Fancy making the national academy squad but not your state team.my understanding is that the additional players have been informed. I know that Basil Hart who was hoping to grab one of the remaining spots has been told he didnt make the cut.
That being said I dont know who the additional lads are.
Wow that's interesting. I thought that once Basil Hart was added to the AFL Academy squad a few weeks ago, that was confirmation that he would be part of the WA squad but obviously not.my understanding is that the additional players have been informed. Yes I was very surprised, understandably he is an underager but with so many underagers I thought he would surely be added.Wow that's interesting. We've been told that Tom Bell (SF) is one of the additions.
I'm guessing now that Luke Cotellessa is not one of the additions because I get the sense that someone here would have notified us on this thread.
He injured his ankle earlier this year which has prevented him from playing.Tom.Bell (SF) 100% confirmed as an addition to the WA squad as stated by one of our contributors here. Just 2 colts games to his name. Thankyou TELG

Ok, it says on his profile he is from Bunbury. How did he end up at Souths? I guess you noticed he was one of the bigfooty colts players of the week, so it's not a complete surprise.......I'm guessing he's 193-195cm? I wish I knew who were the other additions to the squad. He injured his ankle earlier this year which has prevented him from playing.
He is actually from Collie, but played footy in Bunbury once he went to high school. His brother Harry Creasy played for the Eagles WAFL side a couple of years ago. Basil Hart is a star small forward, he should be in the WA Champs team, even if its for 1 or 2 games imo.Wow that's interesting. I thought that once Basil Hart was added to the AFL Academy squad a few weeks ago, that was confirmation that he would be part of the WA squad but obviously not.
