Pre-Season Cup Scratch Match: Mt Buller Demons VS BigFooty Bombers

The TV guide has already labelled this game as most likely to be “a boring, slow unexciting game between two squads who don’t want the practice.”

While it may not attract viewers to the SFA game, it wasn’t expected to, and, despite the legion of fans that follow the two squads, is expected to draw an attendance of around 100.

Can the Bigfooty Bombers, reigning premiers, install fear into the hearts of their opponents for the year by playing an uncompromising, tough, hardened game against the Demons?

Or will it be the Demons, fresh from a caning by the Furies, who will find some solace with the run and carry game style before the season starts?

In all honesty, no one gives a fat rats.

Dees fans,

Mt Buller are holding our official, "season launch" this week, before and after the game. Festivities all around, there'll be games and rides for the kids, booze for the adults, and... well... nothing for those inbetween.

Except the autograph session that I've organized after the game. Just be careful, I'm really grouchy after a loss.

That's why I'm holding it this week.
