It's great that guys like Justin Berry keep putting their hands up for interleague. He was brilliant against Hampden last year.

I think from the Casey Cardinia division, Scanlon, Collins, Walker will make it and hopefully guys like Page and Fletcher play.

just had a look at the under 18 interleague team on the mpnfl website. Wondering what the selection criteria is as the team contains several stingrays listed players. Are they eligible? The listed players selected don't appear to have played tac this year does that make them eligible ? Find it interesting that the most dominant under 18 side in all three comps (mornington) has just one rep, yet a team they beat by 20 goals last week has three !
Selecting this side would be a massive job and the league could pick 2 or 3 competative sides, but morno only having 1 player is staggering.

Great win by the MPNFL - watched it via streaming - awesome game. Two great goals by Berry in last quarter and a great game by Micky Collins(gun) in the guts - i think it was a 2 point win.

Will play off next year to be the best comp in the state.

Yeah, it was a great win. The standard of the game was great, it was physical and skillful.

Berry won the radio award and Ash Eames got the team award, but I thought Michael Collins was BOG today. He's such a great player. Marc Holt played well in the second half as well.

Can't wait for next year.

Yes, a great win by the MPNFL. Playing off next year to be the no. 1 rated league a significant achievement, the players showed genuine commitment for the jumper, not always the case at interleague.Pats on the back to everyone involved .
We must realistic though and realise that with the size and location of our league, WE SHOULD BE NO.1 !!!!

The MPNFL needs to look at the selection process for the under 18s though. Again, with the size of our league the unders should be pretty dominant. Only ONE player from the top 3 teams in peninsula division says either the clubs aren't putting up the players or the league aren't identifying the right players.

Actually, just had a look at the ovens and murray board and they are complaining that we are a suburban league with 620 players !!!
