Not sure if this is the right place to ask but has the MPFNL released anything on the MPFNL Women's season in terms of divisions or fixture?
 
Fixture is out for all three divisions of the MPFNL Women's season.

Devon Meadows, Pearcedale and Somerville should also be up there. Bonbeach are a bit of an unknown coming down. There hasn't been many bounce back up into Div one for a while.
 
There was a few practice games scheduled for Saturday but have since been canceled due to the extreme heat expected. Plenty the weekend after on the 16th
 
Both Edi-Asp and Pearcedale denied entry into having stand alone teams in the Southern league 3rd tier competition. Edi has over 100 senior players and Pearcedale 80.

So where to for the left over players?
Should the MPNFL adopt a thirds type (Club 18) comp? If Edi Asp have over 100 on their list as suggested they could enter 2 sides, Pearcedale 1…..only need 3 more teams = 6 total and you have a comp up and running.
Even make the Thirds comp 15 a side so makes it easier to fill…..after all only a social comp

If Edi Asp has 100 on their list you would expect their Reserves to be super strong this year…..would imagine their depth is going to be unbelievable! Lots of players to pick from.

Send their extras up to Powelltown in the outer east they need players badly..:

Seriously loss as to why southern wouldn’t let them in - isn’t it about encouraging participation?

If they’re not letting them in then you’d hope there must be a way for them to have a game of footy. It’s crazy there are clubs that have those numbers while others are struggling.

Clubs are often reluctant to help each other out but surely the leagues can step in and try to broker something. Let them play at another club on permit for 12 months, something.

I’m pretty sure Mordi were battling a bit for numbers not long ago, 5 mins up the road they have 100 on the track.
