Some currently have Leo going as high as pick three but most seem to acknowledge that he's at least in contention for a top 10 selection this year. It'll probably come down to how he goes in the national championships with the defending champion Allies team. I suspect he'll get to play plenty of VFL footy this year when he's not required for rep/academy games and that will obviously push his case as well.

Thanks for that when you are not a Daniel rich or Shannon hurn type build and you are playing regular vfl football at that age in a premiership side it is very promising.
What are his weaknesses and strengths?

Are injuries to top players in the Coates League as common as they are in the WAFL colts?

In colts, there are always 15-20 players unavailable every damn week and it seems to happen in each of the three years I have been making lists.

I'm always trying to get players noticed. I never try and tell my fellow posters where to place them or how high to rank them but if players never play, it's an impossible task.

I can't expect interstate rankings experts to rate what they can't see.

You’d think he’d be right up there in top 10 calculations. He played very well in the GF and has had a great start to the VFL 2024 season. Auto pick for GC.

Finished with 28 and 2 in the Coates league game. 181cm inside mid. Potentially lacks a little composure and disposal by footy seems average right now. But he has attributes you can't teach. What's his story, is he a top age 19 yr old? Surely he gets drafted somewhere.

Harley Reid played VFL footy last year for at least 2 aligned clubs. Exposing talent to a higher level early isn't something new.

Father/son prospects have been training and involved in AFL programs as young as 13-14.

Levi Ashcroft was at the Lions game last night, surprised he didn't play in the VFL portion of the game at the end.

Suns had academy kids playing in the Suns winning VFL premiership team. Fully embodied into their game plan and internal structures. Running around and training with AFL listed players.

They are years ahead of other draftees who dont get that level of support.

a small forward to watch out for is Evan Bradley from SA. Watched a lot of him last year playing in the U18's as a bottom ager. Kicked some absolutely freakish goals so hopefully he can keep progressing.

What are others thoughts on Ben Camporeale? To me he looks to have exquisite skill by hand and is a natural accumulator without being an out and out inside bull, but his kicking lets him down in that it lacks any real damage. High up and under balls that generally find their way to safer targets in space, but won't be piercing through a zone defense at AFL level too often.

Feel like if he kicked as well as his brother he'd be a top 10 prospect.
