I’m not sure anyone is sure with what going on
that government web site clearly says you can only have trades people at your house for emergency work

is lawn mowing a trade?
But yes i agree. I think its only permitted if you are doing the lawn of an approved business.
That's why council contractors get away with it.

Yep unfortunately bad news wins the day. Facts aren’t that exciting. Having said that the 2 fools I know who refuse to get it are saying no one tells me what to do. I said well sorry they do. You have to wear a seatbelt. You have to drive at certain speeds. That’s just life. The only people who shouldn’t get the vaccine are those who it could be a health danger to.

Have appointment with GP next week to discuss this as I had a stroke when fairly young . Just a bit concerned

I also have a bit of history with clots that's why i was looking it up..

The interesting thing, is that its not people prone to blood clotting that are the rare cases.

Just had to pay $600 for 3 covid tests in NT, guaranteed 6-8 hour result.

Wife and daughter freaked out flying home ASAP.
I am going to risk a further restriction and stay to next Thursday or Friday, want to see Litchfield and Katherine Gorge and maybe the Tiwi's.

Also may only be in lockdown a day or two after I get back.

Do you really have to pay? Wowee Surely you don’t lockdown coming into a covid state. Shouldn’t it be the other way around. Litchfield is great by the way.

Would have been a 48 hour wait for results otherwise. Worth it.

I mean risky that NT could introduce futher restrictions. Assured they wont but who knows?
Could have been at an exposure site and have to quarantine at Howard Springs. Unlikely though hadn't been at any sites and the new ones are from the 25th May when we were in Darwin.

I am willing to take the risk and look like Scott no mates for 4 or 5 days.

Mate Kerry stokes was allowed to isolate and quarantine in his own home. Everyone else here has to go into hotel quarantine.

I was talking about the photographers. Of course they should be allowed to work. Unlike some I’m not upset who can work I’m upset who can’t work. Good luck to those that can. Anyway 5 cases today which is reasonably good news. Still think lockdown will go on till Sunday week but I hope I’m wrong.

I think you can get it if over 40 now but have to book in....which at the moment is impossible because the system is like Ticketmaster or Ticketech or what ever those dickheads the AFL use are.

Yeah it’s the double standards and inconsistency’s that drive me nuts. My personal opinion is we shouldn’t be in lockdown at the minute. But we are and more than happy to play my part and do the right thing but it shits me when I go for my walk and watch council workers doing there mowing

I live on a wetland, the second biggest coastal park on the bay with the wetlands going 20k south of us.

If our lawn is not mowed we are inviting snakes into our backyard. I think council and private lawn mowers should be able work, at least in our area.

Everyone should be able to do home quarantine. BUT
We have dickheads who don't.
Have any of the ones who have been permitted breached their quarantine?
I remember early on it was some well off types ( Aspen party goers ) who were ignoring it.
