Yep, if he's so good how come he was so bad for so long, calls Horse's style boring...he's a sacked ex coach for a reason. But he knows all the coaching terminology and presents well on media..

I only watch those clips of twitter/X and it's actual analysis and breakdown of game play which is what I'm interested in

The rest of it i haven't seen so cant comment. But more of that stuff would be great

The Simmo bashing needs to get in the bin. He's been perfectly candid in his short media career about what he couldn't achieve with the group and his coaching mortality etc.

He does not need to preface every single media comment on West Coast announcing himself as the failed ex-Coach of said club. In tonights segment it wouldn't have even carried weight to the Oscar Allen discussions.

Watching that its a good reminder that Simpson was probably an/the elite coach tactically between 2014 and 2018. Before the team he coached was drafted into a new competition with a completely different set of rules that the list he'd build wasn't necessarily equip to play. Always a fun time in the V/AFL.

Both have won the same amount of flags as a coach and Simmo has won one more as a player.

Yep this. And that seven six goals was not us having a bad quarter - we were just slightly outscored each quarter - by 15, 11, 10 and two points.

Add that to a reasonable result against Brisbane …

For those seeking doom and gloom after just three rounds of a rebuild it reminds me of a song lyric ‘I’d be happier if I was more depressed’.
