Question:

What is the opposite of a never again list?

An over and over and over again list?

Because Sam Walsh is on my always and forever list.

I’ve committed to him so many times that if this happened to be the year he popped off I might not be able to live with myself.

I picked Dan Houston about three times at Port and then jumped off the year everyone else jumped on and he became a primo.

I can’t have that feeling anymore times in my life.

Who have you jumped off this year?

I'm seriously considering Zach Merrett. I don't even like the guy but I reckon he could go ham after the off-season he has had. Also no one has him and he doesn't have the early bye (rounds 2 and 3 look brutal).

The risk is the Brad Scott factor obviously but I have heard he will be starting in the guts.

If I had more $$ I would invest in Brayshaw, but I don't. And I don't love Serong as he is not as strong in transition.
I'm really keen on Merrett. Very underpriced. I'd been scared off by the thought he'd be ostracised.

Currently running Serong but I could be convinced to switch.

How confident are you with your intel?

I think Brayshaw is fantastic. Had him a few times in my teams last few years. Good all round type and hopefully can make him one of my first upgrade targets.

Had a look at Merrett, but I had a similar view to the post above that he'd be on the outer somewhat.

Cooper Lord gets a tick for me last night, one of our better ball users and scored enough to generate some decent cash. Can hopefully upgrade him by round 5ish

As much as I wish he was traded, the club didn't make the big song and dance of holding onto him (and now apparently trying to extend him) to shunt him around into positions he is not suited.

The intel was all very second hand / hearsay (which is to say, not very confident), but apparently he said that he would absolutely be playing in the guts.

Not just Lynch. Cripps, Walsh and Lynch all putting in early bids for your bottom 50 this season.

You could rename it the $hitshow medal. P Cripps 3 votes.
Young did well to restrict Lynch to only 11 scoring shots.

Hopper wasn't exactly putting a case forward either.

Can't make that call unless you know he's absolutely playing mid, he goes 100 at HFF and it's a dead pick

Don't think it's correct unless you had intel the rest of us didn't
He was and is always going to play mid. With the speed of the game from the new rules, more players will get mid time not less. Yes some of these mids will spend more time forward as well, but pick the right ones and they will be in your forward line by the end of the year. Bont, Merrett, Daicos, Anderson, Dawson, Richards will be a pretty handy forward line.
