Thinking of taking a flyer on Durham as a forward keeper. Gets me a shit forward rookie off the field, opportunity to get Pickett when Cook fizzles out, and plan for Trac after the byes to complete my forward line. Shit role to start the year playing this hybrid F/M role, but returned to the midfield as the main center last week.

Average 90 last year, got 102 last week, is a contested possession beast, and clearly Parish & Tsatas anre out of favour. Caldwell is a bit of a risk to him but they can’t just keep playing the same midfield mix. I Think they’ll continue experimenting with their 3rd mid but Merrett/Durham look M1/M2 and I’m confident Durham can average 95 from here. For 370k, I’ll take that. I could go more expensive but I want to grab a couple of other fallen premos in the next 2 weeks and I don’t have to rely on rookies popping up now to grab a McCluggage type for example .

106 points from 26 disposals 16 contested possessions. Horrific DE% early but rescued it nicely. Think this is very sustainable - 5% improved DE & 2-3 less disposals will see him average 100 from 24 disposals @ 66% DE I reckon with his contested work & tackling. Would highly advise anyone in need of a forward premo for value to look at him.
