Just dead potato rookie Watkins to new, exciting, can’t-fail rookie Angry Anderson.

Decided to give all of Jerong, Jaques, Sellwood, Grlj, etc another week to grow or reveal themselves as the one to go.

3/3 last night beat their BEs nicely.

You holding Jagga too?

I need to cull someone for AAnderson and its down to Blamires, Jagga, Grlj or even Bruhn

I want to keep Pou and DevRob for now for loopholing

Yeh it's tough to figure who to hold, who to fold.

Blamires scoring pretty consistently, low BE, has DPP -> keep
Jagga's BE is creeping up, but anyone with eyes can see the scoring power there, and he's just as likely to string together a few 90+ - especially if the Blues stop utterly sucking.
Bruhn I really rate, but role is a problem. I think Atkins ****-blocks Bruhn from the centre square. He might be on the block sooner than later, but I'm hoping he can smash out another ton first - he's more than capable.
Grlj looks a fantastic player for the future. Has been pretty consistent, but maybe doesn't have the ceiling at this stage (and in this Richmond team). DPP handy, but you're probably not going to lose out on anything big by trading him.

My analysis, FWIW.*

* Void void void. This does not constitute financial advice. Any representations or recommendations made by Faz 2000 in relation to Supercoach are for entertainment purposes only.

I think the issue for Bruhn comes when Geelong want to heavily tag a midfielder. So for example last week, Mullin put a hard tag on Bont which means Mullin's CBA's went drastically up, and Bruhn was the one that made way for him. When Mullin tags a small forward instead of a mid, Bruhn will then spend more time in the midfield as a result. I expect this week Mullin will be tagging Butters into oblivion, so Bruhn may pump out another low score.

Also, could Worpel also being in the side now also take some CBA's away from Bruhn when Mullin is tagging a small forward? I hope not, but it's a possibility. Bruhn only usually plays around 65% game time too, so that is also another downside to him.

Agree, you may be onto something here. Can’t speak to other games, but Mullin went to Watson in the Hawks game, and Bruhn had 92, from 26 possessions.

Bruhn is the victim here of his capability, too. He can be useful somewhere outside the centre square, whereas Worpel cannot.
Absolutely. It's the issue with 90% of Geelong's list SC wise. All players can and do play multiple positions/roles depending on needs in any particular week. Smith is one of the only ones that probably plays one main position and you can trust from one week to the next SC wise.

Edit - Holmes too even though he does switch from mid to half back

id choose jagga. blamires and grill handy flip flopping the 2 lines if necessary for a few more weeks

i did jellwood to AA , but next week will be jagga to retch and ill still blam, grill and bruhn that you have

i like watching bruhn play and think he'll keep moving his ave up through the season

Having a last minute consideration of Blamires/Bruhn to Trac/AAnderson.

Going to need Trac back at some point, only question is whether to wait a week or two given the 150 BE and to see how GC set up with all of Trac, Rowell, Anderson and Touk playing at the same time.

who would be your alternative pick?

trac comes back and looked a bit sluggish and out of gas towards the end and still tonned up, reckon theres no worries on his scoring capability in whatever role they want him in

Never a bad time to get Trac. With Sheezel is the clear-cut best forward. Be too cute and he'll drop 140 on ya.

Big step back from there to Pickett and Miller, probably.

Then it's a crapshoot. Some combo of Flanders, McInerney, Bailey, Hornet, Rachele and possibly some KPFs (Treacy, etc).

From that third tier I'd be hoping to buy the dip/shop value. Trac is a just straight buy.

Theres also DPP coming in rd12

Plus Trealor.

May as well wait if you already have Flanders + Trac, Pickett and Sheez. Thats likely the best 4 you can have ATM and all are decent value

If Blamires misses, hold or use as a trade-out for Tsatas?
Had Blamires pencilled in at around tha 320-330k sort of price at trade-out

I'd hold, but I don't want Tsatas. Depends how much you think he makes. You're giving up $50k+ if you trade Blamires out now.

Anyone taking the risk and hopping on Zurhaar?

I'm tempted, had a bad start to the year and seems like the type of high risk high reward move needed to climb the ranks.

Yeah, not that in love with Tsatas, but don’t hate it, either.
Part of it wanting to there if and when the big fella ever actually ****ing pays off

Sharp back in must effect Tsatas. Even if he only gets 10-20% CBA's (it's his best spot too) they have to come from somewhere.

Apparently (not sure where he is in the pecking order atm) Setterfield first game back last week, eased in and didn’t set the world on fire in limited TOG
Scoops at sixes and sevens

I'm intending to HOLD but I'm not getting Tsatas.

Just the one trade for me - Jagga to AAnderson
