I agree... But we don't do that anymore. Besides Green, tell me how many others we have done that in the last 5 years or so?

I guess Cummins would count when he debuted a few years ago but you are correct. Does Murphy count?

I maintain the pitch is a road. Our bowlers couldn’t manufacture anywhere near this much movement new ball old ball anything. They’re just shit and the Indian bowlers are showing the difference

Are you sure you didn’t mean that I say ‘isn’t’ Instead of ‘is’?
That means the pitch isn’t a road 😂😂

That’s literally the definition of a pitch that isn’t a road.

A road is a pitch that no one can get anything out of.

For those already writing him off in what admittedly is an absolute debacle for Australian cricket, McSweeney could hardly have had two more difficult situations to bat and two more wicked balls to be dismissed by. I’m not losing faith in him as a test batsmen or opener on the basis of this one match.

Sweeney is our next captain nothing has changed my view on that

The only thing i will say about mcsweeney is that he fell for the exact same setup in the second innings as he did in the first.
First few out wide, followed by the one that came back in.

He averages just 37 in first class cricket, nit expecting much to be honest.

Give him the rest of the series and SL series. There’s really no one better unless we are dropping Lab/Marsh and playing Lonstas up there. Fair dinkum annoying we had Bancroft averaging near 100 last year and can’t buy a run this year.
