I was answering Gonzales, only, my argument involved only my opinion on climate. That was all. I believe we should be using all we have for energy because electricity is how the modern world exists and gives probably most of us a modern life of sorts.Hi Joon,
I am guessing that did not intentionally to reply to me. But as you have...
Australia has natural resources. These include iron ore, gas, gold, copper, nickel, and many many others. ALL of these resources in-ground are owned by Australians. And so we should get royalties from every single tonne, mega-juel, or what-ever units once it is sold. Australians should benefit. But does that happen? No
That should be the sole focus of every politician In Australia. Billions of dollars are being lost that could be put into ... whatever you think is necessary.
The first thing we need to do is to value our resources. Trump broke our free trade agreement. And so all bets are off... we should now own and value our resources.
ALL gas leaving Australia should have a 10% tax. Further, all gas providers should have to provide gas to Australians at 10% above cost.
I have more.
We should not put retaliatory tariffs against the USA. Let them drive their nation into recession. Our government should instead set up a board that finds new markets. If needed, buy non-pershishable products to be sold at a later date.
Never give into the bully. See his weakness and use it against him
I totally agree we should be making billions out of our mining industries, and GAS of which we have tons but make nothing out of.
It is ridiculous. So to me I'd abandon renewables altogether except houshold roof solar panels to ease costs with the right gear (inverter strength??) to transfer electricity into the home, on a, one house one sun idea.
I am a strict believer in Nuclear energy clean and safer as its developed more and more.
Renewables to me are not ever guaranteed, because they rely on the weather, and are only ever good for back up. If they get bigger and better ? They haven't shown it yet it may take 100 years. They will be back up. NOW, Base Load Power can't be reached with it every second of the day.
My opinion on the climate is not based on any scientific studies, its simply my logic that says nothing on this planet now, then, a billion or 3 billion years ago cannot be 100% so making statements of absolute belief is an impossibility for me , but thats me. Like the other eight billion people on his earth I might be wrong.
But I might be correct. But observing things and seeing there have been lots of falsehoods said about what the climate does and how it always has.
Makesme sure its Politics driving the left green, and I just lost them they moved house not me.
But you know that mate.
Science is a wonder, but it is never 100% and can't be.
Nothing can, except some ideas in mathematics I guess, and physics, but judging absolutes from huge long times past with drills, no, never 100%.
I 'll never change on that, the planet is too unpredictable we are insignificant to nature just a part of it.
