Astounded he gets zero love.Pretty standard. Imagine he played for Dogs, Sydney, Richmond or Carlton.the media would be fawning all over him

If we play finals this year, that’s when Nas could really break through into the mainstream and get the accolades.Astounded he gets zero love.
It doesn’t suit the ‘narrative’ that we don’t draft well or develop well. He’s arguably the third best player/fourth after chito from last years draftAstounded he gets zero love.
Yeah, it was a bit of a happy accident...glad he got on the board thoughA bit of a fluke yesterdays goal, but we’ll take it all the same!
It really should be the best first year player and then rising star for 2nd and 3rd year players. Also shows he dumb the RS nomination system is considering nas didn’t ever get a nom.
The way he is going it isn't a crazy thoughtYep, in a couple of months.
Yeah was a bit lucky, hoping it gives him confidence to have a ping if clear around the arcYeah, it was a bit of a happy accident...glad he got on the board though
Rachelle and Callaghan the other two in contention but Nas' form the the past few months would keep him ahead of them.As I said previously would have to be going pick 4 in redraft ?

Nas
No he didnt. Ill give you that he wasnt much chop in the contest as his body was very skinny but his kicking was generally very good and nailed a lot of very hard corridor passes. He didnt get a heap of the ball though which naturally limited him which is the complete opposite this year where his leather poisoning is hitting chronic levels. His development has been absolutely outrageous this season. If we're being honest last year he'd hit one nice kick per game and stuff up the rest, while being a liability in the contest. Now he's our most composed user of the footy behind Sincs and he's actually a pretty handy defender - he's good in the air, gets plenty of intercepts and can tackle effectively. Looks like a 300 game hall of famer if he continues on this trajectory
Also shows he dumb the RS nomination system is considering nas didn’t ever get a nom.
The thing is he was Definetly deserving of a nom last year.He played 17 games last year so wasn't in contention. He was good last year but didn't look outstanding. He really seems to have lifted as the other kids are starting to tire.

RTB had nothing but praise for Nas in his interview... said he is underrated and is probably top 3 in our BnF currently.
I always forget he is just a second year player. Imagine how he will be in 3-4 years time once his frame fills out a bit.
He's exactly what we need and has probably the best mentor in the game atm in that half back/wing/half forward role in Brad Hill. He's exactly what we were hoping brad hill would be lol.
Except he's 10 years younger and played 30 games.
Nuts.
Steal of the draftI was so flat about this pick when we made it. My god how wrong I was. Silk.
32 possessions.I know we rave about Mitch Owens and rightly so but this guy has been absolutely elite over the last few weeks. His last 10 games alone he has average 27 disposals, which is incredible for someone his age.
