VFL VFL Season 2024

To me Cooper McDonald has been very good. He a great mark for his size and as a defender he’d fit very well into an AFL squad. Can’t say that about many of our VFL side including those AFL players.

Cooper and Ned been great. Hutchinson has had huge raps on him but as yet apart from one mark I don’t see much. He’s too small for a key forward I guess he could end up a Fritch type but not yet.

I can't wait to see Demattia play a few good VFL games and then debut in the seniors. He has electric pace and his body looks ready to mix it with the big boys.

I haven't watched a ton of Collingwood VFL but he looked very good in one of the practice matches, maybe against Richmond? but consistency is key.

Could lose Hutchison and Long in MSD

Hutchinson, yes.

Long, less likely. Good AFL Fantasy player but definitely has weaknesses.

Have they really been that good?

Hutchinson has been and has a high development ceiling. Few games out of country and he’s the VFL teams’ best key.

Long’s done some things well, probably not as highly rated as he is on here though.

It’s a big week for a few boys this week.

To the midfielders not playing, it’s their chance to star. Eyes on Allan, Carmichael and one of Macrae or HH if neither is named.

Kreuger is fighting for his career.

Down back, AJ will need to play another big game.

And may Aiden Begg have everything on his side because he’s taking on Brayden Crossley

We will be able to field a team. It means there’s opportunity for some to come through. The excuses for Johnson, Begg, etc are now none because they are the stars on this team.

I think it might be the other way around. Last wed long seemed to go inside for a bit then come back out and talk to the trainers. Did finish the session.
Hutchy completed the session and also last night- Long was relegated to running last night.

Hopefully both are fine for Saturday. Training is tomorrow night
