Adelaide v Geelong
Friday 21 October
5:10pm
Wigan Oval (Unley Oval)

It's our turn to have the dreaded 5:10pm Friday afternoon slot (and the AFLW wonders why crowd numbers are down).

A real danger game this week following our loss to Brisbane and Geelong being in some decent form. Can the girls respond, and fire up, from last week?

It was originally meant to be 6:10pm at Norwood, which was bad enough. Then they made it 5:10pm, which is just ridiculous.

The timeslot is about as fan unfriendly as it gets
Better than the 5:10pm Tuesday we got vs GWS and Hawthorn during covid.

I would prefer Zoe in for either Ward or Whiteley.
Rotate Prowse with Gould and Mckinnon. McKinnon stationed in defense - her kicking for goal is unwatchable but she seems adept at reading the play and intercept marking. Gould primarily in attack.
At least it gives us some tall marking players across the field.

All good outs (other than Randall :(). The ins all mostly make sense, although what has happened to Waterhouse?

You'd have to think Prowse will request a trade to Port at the end of the season. She is clearly never getting a game as long as Gould and McKinnon are available, and both are still super young.
It's bizarre. She looked like a fantastic addition to our forward line, admittedly agaist not much opposion.

I still have some question marks over her, but surely she offers more than Whiteley? Not to mention, our forward line has looked so static in recent weeks and we won't be able to rely on Randall going down there to shake things up.

I don't get why we persist with Whitely, she played 1 good game and done sweet stuff all for the rest. Waterhouse has shown more in her 2 games than Whitely has in 19.
