I’m pretty sure anyone could be a Brownlow Medallist if they didn’t actually have to abide by the rules of the sport

Don’t get me wrong, Cripps is a good player. But it helps immensely when you can:

• Throw the ball
• Get caught holding the ball
• give high fend offs
• Run without bouncing

All without penalty

I swear he throws more than he handballs legitimately
