Another exciting ex AFL talent. Well done Monty.
We are in for a treat watching D1 this year.
Seems like most clubs bar West and Macleod have made significant on field additions. West is/was the team to beat but they’ve lost their chf and chb. Going to be a great year to see who wins it but just as exiting is the relegation battle.
West will have something up their sleeve. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Houli land there

All these players are playing at top clubs. You basically need to bring in this sort of talent to compete at the top end these days

Has Dave Astbury actually put pen to paper at Bundoora or is that still just a rumor ?
Jacob Townsend has been delisted by GC and I know a couple of clubs are into him if he’s now done at AFL level
macleod waiting on Mick Hurley to finish up and return to his old club, to be joined by fellow junior Billy Longer. Those 2 would be nice additions . Chuck in Aiden Corr as well
Aiden Corr is 27 lol, got a 5 year deal at North.
Gonna be waiting a while.

A lot of blokes who signed for unders this year with the 100k salary cap may be sticking their hands out now the salary cap has been thrown out the window by some clubs.
Just because Macleod aren't signing ex AFL footballers, doesn't mean they automatically go down the pecking order. They eventually got going towards the last 6 rounds last season and proved more than a handful to most teams. They traditionally rely on their Junior Club for depth and list improvement. They will be thereabouts in 2022

Greatest certainty of all time to be bottom 4.
List is old, best players are north of 30, won’t have 19s in 2022, juniors are slowly getting numbers but will be a while before they progress to senior club. Kidding yourself if you think any different

Lost a few young players regained a few handy young players not sure if the depth is still their
North of 30 and most struggled with soft tissue problems. The games I saw towards back end the team looked ok but that list won’t be the same. Will players follow ex coach to the roosters?

Bottom 4 so they could still finish 7th in your opinion which is about where they finished this year.
