This team is so ******* dumb. How can you play an entire match not getting Ronaldo involved (it seems like it’s been this way for the last few weeks), can’t get Sancho involved for an hour, Greenwood (despite the goal today) seems like he’s taken 80 shots this season from different angles and distances because he’s become greedy as heck, Maguire is a lazy *er and that first goal is plenty of evidence, the CB’s have a stupid habit of running away from anyone running at them and it’s like “here, shoot!”.

If the Glazer’s give enough of a s**t, Ole should be getting sacked soon. Not that the players shouldn’t be taking responsibility.

So so dumb aren’t they, you nailed your first paragraph, It’s ****ed how pathetic we operate.

Gary Neville is completely on the money with his assessment on Sky today. Off the ball United are a shambles and unable to defend as a team. We wonder why our CB's are dissolving like they are made of sand, then you see the front line of Greenwood, Ronaldo and Sancho failing to press, Pogba then pressing high and leaving a massive hole in behind him, Fernandes strolling about, Shaw struggling to get back after trying to drive an attack down the flank, Wan Bissaka pushing forward trying to intercept a switch only to miss it and leave a hole in behind. It doesn't matter if we have Matic or Fred or McTominay holding, or all of them or none of them, the team defence starts from the top and out wide and it is utter shite. Has been all season.

I think Ole has seen the attacking options he has available and feels he needs to play an attacking style to enable the team to live up to its dangerous reputation, but he hasn't been able to instigate a team approach to defending. And this will not be fixed in the coming weeks. Watch us get torn to shreds in the coming weeks.

Its a bunch of blokes running around wanting to get a kick, that’s what it looks like, I see 0 team chemistry in our side.

Yeah.

There is sufficient talent in an attacking sense that they can score goals through moments of creativity, but there seems to be little to no connection between the players in a structural sense. Watching Pogba in the first half for example press super high and leave a huge amount of space in behind him, in the centre of the park, with no communication from his team mates about filling that space or pulling him into line told me everything. He pushed up because Ronaldo and Fernandes were being slack (issue 1), then no one filled his space (2) and no one was shouting at him to get back and hold his space (3). Its ******* obvious that the team is not being prepared properly. Every other team we have played have had a plan and for the most part have been able to execute it for most of 90 minutes. West Ham looked well prepared against us. Everton the same. Villa the same. They have a system and they stick to it and try to hurt on the counter. Leeds are just chaotic and Newcastle just not good enough. But we as a team are like this post, kinda all over the place.

This talk of Fred and McTominay is simply not the main issue. Put any CDM in there and they are going to be bypassed anyway as they get pulled out of position trying to plug gaps left by lazy and ill disciplined and poorly coached team mates.

And what about the set piece too.

No one marking anyone and Baka is just like thank you very much. It's like they wanted to lose and couldn't care less about it.

Mmm
That’s the one concern I had about ronaldo. Many have picked it up but he doesn’t press.
So what do we do. If he doesn’t press it’s hard for the team to press

The Dutch assistant manager summed it up last week or whenever. We play with no designed system. We rely on individual brilliance and DeGea to be in god mode to win games.

Yes, and if not for DDG last night we honestly lose 6/7/8-2, and that’s no joke, against a team who haven’t been great themselves this season and were winless in their last 5 games, some hard hitting questions need to be ******* asked, it’s simply unacceptable for a club this size.

Greenwood isn' ta great presser, nor is Sancho, nor is Fernandes, nor is Pogba. The front 5 are amazingly talented with the ball at feet (6 including Rashford) but a defensive system is only as good as its constituent parts, and our parts are as good as ******* useless.

McGuire is an absolute joke. Cannot believe that bloke is captain.

I remember watching Rio and Vidic and they would almost never make mistakes.

McGuire had a hand in every Leicester goal with his stupidity.

Scousers, City & Chelsea all proceed with wins as top teams do, with the players we have it’s ******* sh*t seeing how far off we are, when with a competent manager we can actually challenge and win the PL.

Give Klopp/Tuchel/Pep this squad and it would be cutting through teams. Give Ole this squad and ...

The team balance has been destroyed by signing Ronaldo, ignoring the obvious holes in midfield and trying to accomodate Pogba in the XI when in fact he is a misfit. Jadon Sancho looks so lost playing with us and Ole's mismanagement trying to get play injured players is just plain stupidity. At the end of the day despite that outside of the midfield void we have the personnel to address these problems but Solskjaer clearly is out of his depth and get bring about the solution but will the club be proactive enough to make decision to save this season? Well for the second time running Liverpool might help us accelerate that
