frampton our ruck; and
austin our defender


and yes, we need to play our players in their role. Hopefully Westhoff can elevate himself in a set role rather than everywhere man.

His role is a KP utility. Can play forward, ruck and back. It makes him pretty valuable for us.

Yeah both players have a similar role but are different players.

I'm expecting if Doogie comes good, Up forward he will have the same output Hoff did in his career. He is and should be better as a backup ruck too.

As for defence Hoff more roams as a spare man to take game saving marks. Not really defending a set player, more zoning.

Doogie can be on the last line of defence to stop joe the gooses which would lend a hand to Hombsch, Trengove, Austin etc.
 
I can't think of a better opportunity to see how a top KPF performs in this league. If Schulzy can position himself well, lead well and kick a bag this weekend then we'll know just how far Butch really is from the mark.

It is good for our reserves to have a bye on the same weekend as the AFL team so that the entire list gets a week off but 4 byes in a 10 team comp is ridiculous.

It is done to make the SNAFL season a 22 week season with every team still only playing each other twice.

"A 22 Round Season, with each team having four byes across the year. All but two rounds will have four games played across a weekend."
