Great move. The stand rule makes it a 17 v 18, and while they are at it the deliberate rule needs to be fixed.

Not a fan of this one - it is a law of the game and should be applied in all competitions. Need to also remember the Eastern League still has a 25 metre penalty as the grounds are ‘too small’. For a competition that promotes itself as progressive there are a few things where the tail is certainly “wagging the dog”. Not a fan of this decision and their belief they are unique.

I do agree about the deliberate or “intent to keep the ball in play“ law of the game. The way this is interpreted at both elite and community levels of footy at times is mystifying at times.
