He argues his case in his new book Football’s Forgotten Years.

The only good thing about Carter is he is no longer on the venal Commission..

I have found some people who drain on about premierships are most likely to be cookers with crushes on the Credlin.

Others resemble booze addled retired officers with varicose veins on their noses reminiscing about battles their dead troops fought in.

I have had the unfortunate experience of St.Ains fans rattling on about it is the quality of the premiership that counts.
