On more than one occasion Josh Carr has said he's happy with what Teakle brings to the table.

We have one Ruck under contract for next year Teakle is still the most likely of the 3 that aren't contacted to be here next season.

For a club willing to develop him maybe they've seen something we haven't.

Brynn gets a really bad rep at Port because he was thrown to the sharks in the AFL side when he was years away from being ready and ahead of much better options. He's still only 23 and lots of rucks don't find form til 26 or so.

Wouldn't shock me if a side is willing to stick him in the VFL and see if he can come good with the right support.

Let him develop, give him a clear and limited role, and put him in when needed.

As opposed to just sticking him in as first ruck because Sam Hayes said no to investing in your greyhound.
