Billy was trash, who found himself at the right place at the right time.

Well in the AFL, the right place has for 11 years consistently been "not at a club being coached by Ken Hinkley", so Brynn has at least taken an important first step.

And they only won by a goal, and if that result had gone the other way his dogshit performance would have been the main reason why.

Frampton looks like a bloke who has played footy all his life, at port he looked too short to be a proper ruckman and too slow to play kpd or kpf, whilst teakle looks like someone who has just started playing footy
Hayes is an old fashioned ruckman whilst teakle is very athletic & with his height and leap could potentially play kpf or ruck.
That combination is highly desirable, like a Kurt tippet type
One of my mates was about 6’6”/ 199 cm, 100kg plus, very fast & athletic & a div1 no1 tennis player, he actually kicked Lleyton Hewitts ass, and ammos, sanfl & a couple of afl clubs were keen to trial him even though he had never played footy just because of his height and athleticism, there are very few blokes that size who move well enough to play footy

So does the fact that Teakle is getting another trial and Hayes isn’t (yet), suggest that Hinkley and Carr are not alone in their assessment of Teakle vs Hayes?

It's early.

Needs VFL game time to show he can stay in a game for its entirety.

Does that he will get snapped up midyear very quickly.

Doesn't he won't.

Missed out with Collingwood

Collingwood has signed three additional players to its rookie list with VFL star Lachie Sullivan getting the call-up after a huge performance in their intraclub match on Wednesday.

While former Port Adelaide ruck Brynn Teakle was viewed as one of the frontrunners for a pre-season supplemental period (SSP) signing, he has missed out, with the 26-year-old Sullivan joining the premiers after another stellar year at Footscray.

Loved how he talked about Collingwood having a winner's mentality, their attention to detail even at training, and their overwhelming desire to always look to be better.

There was a time when we were once a club like that.............
:embarrassedv1:
Sigh!!!!!!
Blame our bloody coach. Too clever to even go on to further his knowledge.
