2024 ANZAC Day Medal voting panel:
Dale Thomas (Channel Seven – Chairperson)
Eddie Betts (Fox Footy)
Sarah Black (AFL Media)
Cameron Ling (ABC Sport)
Andrew Wu (The Age)
Noticed this years panel is 5 instead of 4.
Going to have 2 plays 'To Poll a Vote' at Sportsbet.
Ben McKay at $13. Has been a stand out defender for Bombers this season. It will be his first ANZAC Day game. A Bombers win and keeping the Pies to a lowish score, he will be the focus of the defender group.
Beau McCreery at $18. Looked at Bobby Hill who is around $4.20 to Poll A vote. Both similar types of players. Might be able to sneak in with a vote with a couple of goals and good tackling pressure. Although you probably need 3 goals to be in calculation for a vote. Having Eddie Betts on the panel means a small forward will be in conversation.
Interesting that they got the PointsBet SGM Ambassador to be the head of chairperson for the voting panel.
