Standout game for Jack and probably the best game he has ever played.

Absolutely. The best thing about it is that he didn't do anything that he's not capable of repeating. It wasn't extraordinary. Got to the right spots, chose the right contests and most importantly executed.

Yep, wasn’t just his effort deep in the forward line yesterday, his timing as far as his leap goes was amazing against Lycett.

Having said that, it was his work deep in the forward line that was the most impressive. With McKay initially and then when he went down, Curnow dragging Aliir away from the goalsquare and playing as a centre half forward he played the perfect game really and it was all nothing out of the ordinary. Makes me think he has a big finish to the year coming up especially if we keep getting the ball down there nice and quickly.

Really hope we get an announcement or some mail soon RE a contract being signed or an indication that he will sign. Would be heartbreaking to lose him at 25, tick over 100 games in.

Yep, all his career he’s been treated like a smaller player, with Curnow and McKay up forward he only got a tiny amount of entries delivered to him so he had to adapt his play to ground level play aside from his link up work really I think. He’s walking around and playing like a key position forward at the moment. It’s come at the perfect time with Harry copping an injury. Plenty of goals for the taking the next few weeks for Jack.

His game has definitely gone up another level, thought he was just going to be always hovering around that good almost effort level with a few flashes of actual producing….

Was seeming that he possibly could start looking or be traded elsewhere?

Keeps playing in this manner he not only makes our team better but he will most definitely be offered another contract…
