Stats: 22 disposals, 12 marks, 2 goals
Moraes’ running capacity was a key reason why Metro kicked away in the second half. He played as a midfielder-forward before being pushed out to the wing, working over each opponent and getting dangerous in attacking phases. Moraes used the expanses of Alberton Oval to rack up marks and he converted well in front of goal – booting a set shot and another on the run in term four.

Actually, we have also had a Paul, James, Phillip, Thomas, Peter, Stephen, Mark, Andrew, and Simon as well!
There have also been a few pre-Christian named players too .... Adam, Cain, David, Daniel, Jacob, Aaron, Nathan, Samuel, Benjamin, Joel, Joseph, and Joshua.

Kicking action looks highly unusual in those highlights. Wait and see how his efficiency is at AFL level, but certainly high risk of Boak/Wines levels of frustration eventuating

Movement reminds me a little of a young Wingard and Gulden but lacks their kicking skills. His kick is rated below average which is a concern but he's elite in most other areas. Could be the next Boak, iffy kick and all. Same height, great running game and could inherit Boak's wing position. I am pleased with this pick but was hoping for Angus Clarke ahead of him.
