The thing I like about Berry is that I feel like he is going to have an impact this year.

Not convinced on Richards but Berry and SPP back is awesome. DBJ grossly underrated as a FWD also

Around that 15-18 mark. A lot of phantoms had Freo picking him up the pick after ours. It seems like there was a lot of interest from some other clubs too. Some people over on the draft board were saying that the Saints were very keen on trading back into the 1st round to pick him.
Seems like there was also interest from the Dees at 9 and Richmond at 10/11.

Yep, not sure what the opposite of a happy clapper is - maybe just a sad sack or a misery guts? First to admit our finals appearances have been disappointing but I've taken my kids to more wins than losses and they're grown up in a world where the Crows are a joke of embarassing camp stories and power stances while Port are a strong traditional club with an excellent recuiting team (Butters v Chayce Jones). Forums are designed for eveyone to have an opinion and share ideas but unfortunately the same people decide to spew their bile across every thread rather than the ones that are designed for them.

The players we recruited this week were literally 1 year old babies last time Port played in a grand final. Nobody under the age of about 30 remembers Port being anything other than mediocre. The broad based criticism is fundamentally warranted.
"The joke of embarassing camp stories and power stances" has won more flags and played in a GF more recently us. Glass Houses.

Connor Rozee has played for the club for 6 years, in four of those years he's played in a top four side. While they're not a Premiership side they're far from a mediocre side. Did you see the faces of the kids that were drafted to us? "I got to meet Robbie Gray", "I've based my game on Butters I love the way he goes about it". The "broad based critiscism" is from spoilt boomers and Gen X's like myself who got to see Tim Evans kick ten - this was back in the day when we could go to a footy oval on the Eyre Peninsula and offer a farmer's son the chance to play for the greatest club in Australia. The system has changed, noone wins like Port used to win - Hawthorn hit rock bottom after their glory, North Melbourne hit rock bottom etc. We'll get there - I agree possibly not with the coach we have but the club itself is much more than the coach.
His highlights on the club's YouTube is actually Robbie like. A slower version of Gray but still lots of Robbie traits.
