Here are the crime board rules of engagement. Please read them.

Importantly, 'sub judice' means that a case is under consideration by the courts. 'Sub judice contempt' can occur if information is published that may be prejudicial to the court proceedings.

Don't spread baseless rumours or state as fact that which is opinion, please.

A degree of respect in all discussion across this board is expected.

At this stage i doubt that this is even being discussed by either side; the accused is not going to even give a hint that he could have been in the remote vicinity at the time of her death and the Crown have charged him with Murder and not any lesser charge

To the best of my knowledge, Victoria doesn't have "no body, no parole" legislation. If he does go down on the charge, the Sentencing Judge may take this into consideration in imposing subseqent sentence.

As the Defence chose not to go to commital it's going to be a winner takes all scenarioVictoria does,

Victoria does, the Corrections Amendment in 2016

Missed that, I knew the ammendment in 2016 didn't get up (The Bill wasn't assented to before the end of Parliament and lapsed). Didn't see the reporting from this year's successful attempt

However, the legislation states:

CORRECTIONS ACT 1986 - SECT 74AABA

Conditions for making a parole order for person imprisoned for certain fatal offences
(1) The Board must not make a parole order under section 74 or 78 in respect of a prisoner serving a sentence of imprisonment for an offence of murder, conspiracy to murder, accessory to murder or manslaughter unless the Board is satisfied that the prisoner has cooperated satisfactorily in the investigation of the offence to identify—

(a) the location, or the last known location, of the body or remains of the victim of the offence; and

(b) the place where the body or remains of the victim of the offence may be found.

...
(5) Cooperation referred to in this section may occur before or after the prisoner was sentenced to imprisonment.

So, if found guilty, he could wait until all the Appeals are finalised before telling where he remembers the body was placed, He doesn't have to say where prior to the trial

The Defence are playing the odds

Yep. This didn't make sense demographic wise to me, I originally thought they must have known one another and forgot about it for a while, but keep hearing recently, that they did.
Have you heard any more about the alleged ‘restraining order’ or the like, that I believe Sam had been taken out on someone ?

Also Munich, am interested to know if what you keep hearing is that only SM & POS knew each other, or did she know other members of his family ?

KNOW, as opposed to KNOW Of - huge difference

Thank you.
