I agree with the sentiment.

Dow proved last year that he is not even close to AFL level. He would be by far the worst midfielder to have played 10 games last year and his game v WC suggested nothing has changed.

Ryan is 24 and hasn’t improved. He appears to cost us the most in games with his inability to mark or move once the ball hits the deck, his ruck work is also mediocre at best. He’s no Max Gawn so can we stop with the BS experiment (oh we can’t because some idiot contracted him for 3 years).

Then we have Kozi who might be able to play but looks about as interested a lower level office worker clocking in for his 30th year.

If these guys improved to AFL level it would be awesome but we shouldn’t be wasting AFL games on them until they dominate lower level football. They aren’t young, they’ve had their chance, let’s focus on the next group.

It's a practice match. Kosi ain't playing, dow is Prestia injury cover. Ryan got too many games last year for Lynch. With the 4 or 5 KPF looking for a game. Ryan will be bench ruck at best.

We are treating this as a practice match not a match sim rd.1 preparation. Have a look at plenty of our new talent. some merit in that as they feel connected and not far off the big time, but it is nowhere near the side that will run out rd.1, unlike Collingwood.

The players have had all summer training 4 days a week and working together, it's not like they don't know how each other plays. Collingwood won't be going at full tilt, would you if you had you spot pretty much cemented against a bunch of kids.

Don’t think we’ll be rocking a squad with 6 KPFs but could be wrong. I was thinking Lynch wasn’t going to play this one.

Smillie is confusing with people saying he is playing but that injury report made it sound like he was 6 more preseasons away.

Trainor isn’t even listed on the injury report so I’m hoping he is playing as he was training well from earlier reports.

Also, Lefau looking in very nice shape in that video. It’s a shame they’re not going to let him come back early because a combo of him and Lynch with the best performing youngster or Balta would actually be a ****ing electric forward line.

Not worth playing lynch in this with his record , keep him fresh . Smilie won’t be far away . I think he and lalor will both press for r1

You are probably right but surely there are others I’d rather the club try to integrate into our side than Ryan. I’d rather even OHB be given more game time. Dow is as weak as piss and I’d rather give time to Alger.

The list is appalling and we are just wasting time on these proven spuds. There are others also that need to be moved on. Sadly hard decisions need to be made and I don’t even want to waste practice match time on these types.
