You are as about as successful as the AFL team that you follow 0-3. It sounds like reality has come home to roost, put down the phone and look up, your life starts now.

Old Carey could go places this year and the vibe and the message from St Andrews pub is extremely positive.
The best thing is at 1.59pm all teams start equal. From there, who knows, but I believe it will be a very even comp. Europe and injuries could be a big determining factor. Europe may have finally lost some of its lustre with the cost being excessive, and a lot of players having done the trip over the last 2-3 years. (Hopefully).

Practice match form is just that practice match form. (very deep).

A big shout out to the VAFA (you herald me right). Their product supplier of footballs is so cheap. Match balls are $127 each. Direct from Sherrin they range from $157 to $189 (depending on discount).

You are too busy playing video games in your mum's basement on a diet of fried chips and 15 colas a day.

The self-inflicted adversities of the Gen Z. Like many, your identity is a persona an impersonation or if you like a caricature of yourself. Your online avatar is now your measuring stick and your anxiety is a manifestation of the comparison to the real-life existence and the online ambition. You now lack the capacity to be in your own reality because it does not meet the expectation you fantasize about continuously.

Not even remotely entertaining. Cringe.

Can you repeat that in English please.

Not much fanfare over Patrick Veszpremi joining CYMS?

Getting on a bit in age but is coming from a country team that pay big sheets & always run the gauntlet on salary cap.

A quick look at his playing history he's getting up there with Damien Cupido & Danny Cassett for clubs

Don’t think you need fanfare to play 4ths

You should change to Old Willy
Bedders, once again you are correct: the Club was founded at the request of the local Catholic priest in 1885 and played its first game in 1886. Documented.

Perhaps the Club should be renamed ‘St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Former Primary Schoolchildren's Amateur Football Club.’

Round 1 - Honest but a little biased match report.

What a spectacular day for football. Ground near perfect and a slight breeze favouring the cricket nets (north west side of the ground).

First off, the club put on a massive day to recognise the passing of one of the founding fathers Godfrey Stevens. A lunch with over 140 paying a fitting tribute to the man called Goffa. RIP big fella.

Secondly, what a transformation Mr. Slattery and the clubs committee have been able to achieve. Last year our 2’s won both games by a collective 200+ (I believe). Today the Caulfield boys came out with a real vigour, and dare I say it a touch of arrogance/swagger. A young team with some real height and strength over the ball. Whilst OI had a shot after the signed was adjudicated to have gone over the post, see the Race Course boys winning by a point. Our field umpire was the 2nd umpire and she (yes she) said it was a point.

The main show then started with a bang, with the Hoes having the chance to score in the 1st 15 seconds. The game was set up in the 1st with OI kicking 7 majors (with the wind) to one. The second quarter see the game even out, with Caulfield making the most their opportunities. OI kicked a goal on the siren to take a three goal lead into the half. It was a bit of a statement until the last 8 minutes of the 3rd when the Hoes kicked 4 goals, then in the last, OI kicked another 4 goals to blow open the game. The boys from the Pine Lodge will be disappointed in the last 10 minutes when Caulfield kicked 4 goals to nil.

Hoes win by 43. A solid hit out within no apparent injuries.

Bring on Carey.

The Big Fella would have been proud of the club and his team today.
