There was a couple of kicks missed, but the frees were 12 all and GWS received 3 50 metre penalties to 1.

I think the umpiring after starting a bit rough ended up being pretty even.

Great game of footy..

pies deserve to play in the GF.. been the best team for the majority of the year.

Giants have been great the last month or so though.. they’ll take this sting and use it to motivate them next year.

This would've been my pick for best GF match up on form. I see Collingwood blowing out whoever wins the other one next week.

I agree, umpires always put the whistle away in finals like that too, that wasn't a GWS thing.

But there is nothing surer now than the AFL wanting Carlton in the final. Brisbane will get reamed.

No they weren't. GWS were trying to get it out. Why on earth do you think they were jumping on it. Collingwood literally spent 3 minutes doing what the afl dont want, diving on the contest. It was horrendous umpiring.

1.58 GWS player receives ball takes on two straight to ground in backline

1.37 GWS on wing ball receive straight to ground.


Both sides doing it to create stoppage when there isn't a clean out.


Neither side could waste time. Both trying to score late.
