Guess who is umpire advisor Wayne Campbell .. Cotchin gets 3 soft frees going other way.

Think you will find North have a few players playing for career.

Because the Victorian Cut-off point for disqualification on a first offence is 0.070.

Didn't watch or listen to the game myself, auto assumed Richmond would win based on the fact that North rested 9 first picked players so there was no point to see one side trying and one side let down in the latter stages of the match by people gifted a game because reasons.

I would assume that North came out of the blocks all gung ho and full of flair, people raised various instances of "oh these boys are trying and it's great to see such a sprited display against the mighty Tigers" by junk time the Tigers would keep in touch, by half time they might even lead as these gung ho not yet ready/soon to be delisted/traded/etc players emulated a boy becoming a man and discovering the fairer sex and fatigued themselves, Richmond would then either extend or creep into the lead in the 3rd and there'd be a 6-10 goal victory to the Tigers as they training drilled around a half knackered half not trying North in the last.

And if Ziebell played, he probably removed his head and threw it into the barrier to concuss himself, since someone in a North jumper needs to be concussed at some point during the night.

People need to get over umpire bashing as well, needs to be more vitriol levied towards the rules committee who enshrined "if in the umpires opinion..." since it basically mandates that as soon as the umpire guesses and makes a decision, it's automatically right by the rules of the game, irregardless of what the umpire boss or anyone really says, because it's their opinion that it happened as they said it did.

Might be bullshit, you might have seen the bull, seen him grin a big cheesy grin an dump his load on your most prized possession, if this was on a footy field, and the umpire called it a chicken, it'd be a goddamn chicken and that bullshit would be currency to buy yourself a seat in aisle 23 because bureaucracy!

Should correct comments from last one umpire Simon Meredith umpires well hence why he has done several
Grand Finals the other 2 no comment.

P.s unusual for fox footy panel to make commentary about umpiring decisions in 1st half is all I will say.

Hey Guys, anyone know the Prelim situation? Hypothetically West Coast and Freo both win, are both Prelims at Subi or one in Melbourne?

I always thought one had to be in Melbourne but a West Coast's players brother told me otherwise. I am sure he's wrong.

They'd both be in Perth. The prelim in Melbourne thing was a one off 10 years ago because the AFL had to play a certain amount of matches at the G and hadn't met it yet.
