McQualter could have the best plan, be the best motivator and make the best in game moves....It really doesn't matter if you've got the squad he has right now.
Probably a discussion for contracts etc. imo

1) But WC list currently have 10 players players that are not best 23 in a strong team and in need of replacement, they are either below average or will not be playing in the side in 4 years.

2) Another 9 players who will be retired by then.

3) We have 25 players 27 and under who should be around barring injury.

Sounds like a big number but we will on average draft 4.5 players per year, so that is 18 in 4 years less draftee failure rate so maybe 12 still on list.
That leaves roughly 7 players that need adding to our list through trade to be a finals contender in 4 years, basically 2 per year.

4) So my point being, get up em WC and trade in some big fish that are list needs and some talented players for holes that need filling along the way!

The expectation was the Lindsay would move into the midfield in his top age season, and we got confirmation of that in the opening round of Talent League action. Lindsay was a strong influence at stoppage and contests, especially impressing without the footy with his defensive pressure and tackling. His typically elite disposal skills were perhaps a little rusty or effected by the windy conditions, but he did manage to lace out some damaging darts in the second half.

Unfortunately had to mute the audio again in this one due to the wind in the effects mic.

Thanks noobermensch. Outstanding prospect and probably my favourite from this draft. Defensive pressure, tackling and a piercing, aggressive and accurate left foot kick is exactly what we need going into F50 out of the midfield with our otherwise appalling disposal.

Top 10 if he can transfer and sustain his ability into the midfield.

Given the windy conditions and his team losing the territory battle, it's a credit to Liam Hetherton that he managed to kick three goals and look dangerous whenever the ball was kicked in his direction. He moves well for a big guy, shows clean hands in marking contests and knows how to use body work to protect his dangerous space.

anyother standouts in those games
for WC NGA players Narrier looked really decent, really small in stature but played though midfield and forward, has that real tough hard at it player with really good skills, wants to win every contest type.
Hard to judge a huge amount as they are very young.

Yes, heard good things about Narrier. We certainly have a bevy of good young, small indigenous brothers coming through.

Just finished watching East Perth v Subiaco

Wes Walley got a lot of it for subi was good with his inside 50's when he took time to use it
and is good by hand, but when in mid just bombed a few forward

Jimmy Aylmore in subi back half caught my eye

Garrison Kenh that left foot is a thing of beauty he is good to watch will be a fan favourite

Jake Caton is tough you do not want to be tackled by him gave away a free for tackling too hard
Used it well of half back he and Kenh are great half backs to have

Lachlan McGlade 'The Bard " was on fire had 5 or 6 goals was on fire he will be a top 5 pick next year
he is so exciting, every time he got near it you expected something good would happen
it was like Lecras in his golden days you know when he touched it something great would happen

Caton as a hard nut defender works very well for our list build

Koby Evans looks really good 13ds and 1.1 at HT.

Finds a way to get his hands free when getting tackled, Looks like LDU running out of stoppage.

Does look like he could improve his 2 way running but that will come.
